Programs and Activities

Programs:

The Victory program is designed to expose each camper to a wide variety of activities. The goal is to create an opportunity for each camper to achieve success, whatever the camper's ability. For a child to gain self-esteem, he/she must develop basic knowledge of the skills involved. Each activity is designed to combine skill development and application.

Activities Include:

  • Social Skills
  • Academics (if required)
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Drama
  • Music
  • Nature
  • Dancing
  • Hiking
  • Board Games
  • Sports
  • Special Fridays
  • Special Teen "Old Timers" Program

Academics:

Campers can participate in an academic program.  Our Directors review each camper's record to establish goals for the 7-week program.

The use of academic skills is integrated into the entire camp program. Measuring for art, keeping score in sports, writing or reading of scripts are just a few examples. For our younger campers there is a strong emphasis on language and speech development, especially in the pragmatics of language required for peer interaction and social competency.
